Resumen en portugues
É estudado um grupo de 10 crianças internadas no inverno de 1975 na cidade do Rio de Janeiro e acometidas de influenza (gripe) quando internadas para tratamento de outras doenças doenças numa enfermaria de hospital infantil. Foi isolado em seis o Vírus Influenza A2/Scotand/1840/74 que vinha grassando em outras partes do mundo a partir de 1974. Estes casos fazem parte de importante surto de gripe pelo mesmo vírus, ocorrido naquela cidade na mesma época. São observados os sintomas, as razões por que foram internadas as crianças e os hemogramas obtidos em sete delas.
Resumen en ingles
Ten children aged 0-4 yers have been studied in a hospital in Rio de Janeiro with flu. In six of them was isolated the Virus Influenza A2/Scotland/1840/74 which has been responsible for the flu in other parts of the world since 1974. These cases are part of the outbreak that hapened in that city at the same time. The Symptoms presented and also the blood pictures are observed.
