Abstract in Portuguese
O presente trabalho tem como objetivo compreender o papel das Organizações da Sociedade
Civil – OSCs para o desenvolvimento de Cidades Saudáveis, a partir de suas interfaces com as
políticas sociais e diversas iniciativas locais. Para tanto, foi realizado um estudo de caso, a partir
da análise da organização Coletivo da Cidade, localizada na Estrutural/DF. Foram usadas
análise documental e entrevistas semiestruturadas como método de coleta de dados. A análise
dos dados se deu à luz da análise de conteúdo de Bardin. Entre os objetivos específicos, buscouse
descrever a história da OSC Coletivo da Cidade, bem como o seu papel articulador no
fortalecimento e na execução de políticas públicas na cidade Estrutural, além de identificar as
potencialidades e os desafios da atuação da organização para o desenvolvimento de uma Cidade
Saudável, a partir de suas ações na Estrutural. Os resultados mostraram as potencialidades da
organização do objeto de estudo enquanto importante articulador de inciativas intersetoriais
para a Estrutural, bem como um importante espaço de convivência e de fortalecimento de
vínculos, tanto para crianças e adolescentes, quanto para suas famílias, sendo estas últimas
representadas, em sua maioria, por mulheres. Por conclusão, apreende-se o papel do Coletivo
da Cidade enquanto um importante agente promotor de saúde na Estrutural, a partir da sua
articulação com diversas inciativas para melhores condições de vida no território.
Abstract
This research has the aim of understanding the role of Civil Society Organizations – CSOs in
the development of Healthy Cities, from their interfaces with social policies and local
initiatives. To that end, a case study was carried out based on the analysis of the organization
Coletivo da Cidade, located in Estrutural/DF. Documentary analysis and semi-structured
interviews were used as the data collection methods. The data analysis was carried out in light
of Bardin's content analysis. The specific research objectives include describing the history of
the CSO Coletivo da Cidade, identifying its articulating role in the strengthening and execution
of public policies in the city of Estrutural, as well as identifying the potentials and challenges
in the organization's performance towards the development of a Healthy City, based on its
actions at Estrutural. The results showed the potential of the organization as an important
articulator of intersectoral initiatives for Estrutural, as well as an important space for
coexistence and strengthening of bonds for children, teenagers, and for their families, the latter
being mostly represented by women. In conclusion, the role of the Coletivo da Cidade is
understood as an important health promoting agent in Estrutural, based on its articulation with
various initiatives to improve life conditions within the territory.
