Nos últimos cinco anos, 150.000 hectares da reserva nicaraguense de Bosawás foram destruídos. A causa estaria na entrada de colonos na reserva, território indígena do povo Mayangna. Cientistas propõem trabalhar em conjunto com o Estado para desenhar estratégias nesta área que contribuam para travar a destruição.

En los últimos cinco años, 150.000 hectáreas de la reserva nicaragüense de Bosawás han sido destruídas. La causa estaría en el ingreso de colonos a la reserva, territorio indígena del pueblo mayangna. Científicos proponen trabajar junto al Estado para diseñar estrategias en materia que contribuyan a detener la destrucción.
