40 a 60 do século passado.
perspectivas do Brasil frente a essas tendências.
Abstract
This monograph was initiated by a contextualization of the subject, through
the review of the Good Manufacturing Practices history. The main disasters
regarding the use of drug products during the 40’s - 60’s decades of last century
were listed. These incidents conducted to worldwide discussions that concluded that
the quality control of finished products itself wasn’t enough to detect failures through
the manufacturing process of drug products. The discussions led to the rising of
Good Manufacturing Practices. Afterwards, this work focused on the evolution of
Good Manufacturing Practices Guidelines established by World Health Organization
and follow up process and incorporation of these guidelines by the Brazilian
legislation. Finally, the world tendencies related to quality assurance of drug products
and the Brazilian perspectives regarding these tendencies were addressed.
