As doenças crônicas não transmissíveis (DCNT) apresentam uma alta prevalência e representam a principal causa de mortalidade e incapacidade no Distrito Federal (DF), tendo como um dos fatores de risco a inadequação alimentar. A promoção da alimentação saudável constitui-se numa estratégia de Saúde Pública importante na prevenção das DCNT. O padrão alimentar da população do DF vem apresentando mudanças e é caracterizado por um consumo exagerado de gorduras de origem animal e baixo consumo de frutas e hortaliças, sendo necessária uma intervenção que possa modificar este padrão e conseguir uma diminuição da prevalência das DCNT. Este projeto de intervenção tem como objetivo contribuir para a promoção da saúde da população, por meio da reorganização das ações de promoção de alimentação saudável. As ações de promoção de alimentação saudável desenvolvidas na Atenção Básica do DF são poucas e têm causado baixo impacto na saúde da população. O projeto visa formar multiplicadores em alimentação saudável entre os profissionais de saúde que atuam na Atenção Básica, por meio de curso de formação, além de implementar atividades de educação nutricional, como oficinas e grupos que promovam a alimentação saudável. Por meio deste projeto espera-se que os profissionais de saúde sejam sensibilizados quanto à importância da promoção da alimentação saudável na prevenção das DCNT e de uma melhor organização da atenção em nutrição do DF.
Resumen en ingles
The chronic non-transmissible diseases (DCNT) show a high prevalence and the major cause of mortality and disability in the Distrito Federal (DF), taking as one of risk factors to inadequate food. The promotion of healthy eating is in a strategy of Public Health important in preventing the DCNT. The dietary patterns of the population of DF is presenting changes and is characterized by an excessive consumption of animal fat and low consumption of fruits and vegetables, with a need for intervention that can change this pattern and achieve a reduction of prevalence of DCNT. This project has the goal of intervention to help promote health of the population through the organization of actions for the promotion of healthy eating. Shares of promoting healthy food developed in Primary Care of DF are few and have caused low impact on the health of the population. The project aims to train multipliers in healthy eating among health care professionals who work in Primary Care through the training course, and implement nutrition education activities such as workshops and groups that promote healthy eating. Through this project it is expected that health professionals are aware about the importance of promoting healthy diet in preventing DCNT and better organization of care in nutrition from the DF.
