Abstract in Portuguese
Que motivos levam profissionais de saúde a cuidarem da formação das novas gerações, em paralelo com a prestação de serviços, muitas vezes em condições bastante aquém do desejável? Como os sistemas públicos de saúde devem atuar para valorizar e capacitar essas pessoas, dividindo recursos com as atividades assistenciais? Como enfrentar as tensões entre teoria e prática na construção de novas relações entre ensino e serviços? Qual a contribuição das residências para a qualidade do cuidado? Muitas perguntas se colocam, e ainda são poucos os dados disponíveis no Brasil. Nossos resultados retratam importantes avanços obtidos nos últimos anos, e também refletem riscos embutidos na situação de crise econômica e contenção de recursos. Contribuirão, esperamos, para inspirar esforços na direção da profissionalização do ensino em serviços, com tudo que enseja em termos de aprimoramento das condições de ensino e fortalecimento dos vínculos de trabalho.

¿Qué motivos llevan estes profesionales de salud a cuidar de la formación de las nuevas generaciones, en paralelo con la prestación de servicios, muchas veces en condiciones muy diferentes del ideal? ¿Cómo deben actuar los sistemas públicos de salud para valorizar y capacitar a esas personas, dividiendo recursos con las actividades asistenciales? ¿Cómo enfrentar las tensiones entre teoría y práctica en la construcción de nuevas relaciones entre enseñanza y servicios? ¿Cuál es la contribución de las residencias para la calidad del cuidado? Muchas preguntas se colocan, y todavía son pocos los datos disponibles. Nuestros resultados retractan avances importantes obtenidos en los últimos años, y también reflejan riesgos incluidos en la situación de crisis económica y contención de recursos. Contribuirán, esperemos, para inspirar esfuerzos en la dirección de la profesionalización de la enseñanza en servicios, con todo lo que propicie en términos de mejoramiento de las condiciones de enseñanza y fortalecimiento de los vínculos de trabajo.
