O crescimento de medicamentos pirateados no mundo e no Brasil temprovocado danos à saúde humana e em alguns casos a morte de pacientes,além de, prejuízos aos cofres públicos. As indústrias farmacêuticas do mundo,que sofrem mais com a pirataria de medicamentos, estão elaborando meios de aumentar a rastreabilidade dos seus produtos, e impedir a adulteração dosmesmos. No Brasil, o crescimento de casos de pirataria de medicamentos tem levado o governo a realizar parcerias com indústrias farmacêuticas e ações governamentais. Dentre elas a Comissão Parlamentar de Inquérito CPI, formada a partir do Conselho Nacional de Combate à Pirataria CNCP, outra ação é a realização de operações com grande impacto, obtidas através da parceria da Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária - ANVISA com a Policia Federal. O presente trabalho visa apresentar as estratégias que o Governo Brasileiro tem realizado e os seus avanços no combate à pirataria através de técnicas.

The growth of pirated drugs in the world and Brazil has caused damage to human health and in some cases the death of patients, besides that, damage to public coffers. Pharmaceutical industries in the world, who suffer
most from piracy of medicines, are developing ways to increase the traceability of their products, and prevent the adulteration thereof. In Brazil, the growth of drug piracy cases has led the government to form partnerships with pharmaceutical companies and government actions.
Among them the Parliamentary Inquiry Commission - PIC, formed from the
National Council to Combat Piracy - NCCP, further action is conducting
operations with great impact, obtained through a partnership of the National
Health Surveillance Agency - ANVISA with the Federal Police. This paper presents the strategies that the Brazilian government has made and its progress in combating piracy through technical.
