Resumen en portugues
O objetivo desse estudo foi o de apresentar uma reflexäo a respeito do ensino médico, através da análise da percepçäo do aluno em final de curso, sobre a relaçäo entre a Atençäo Primária de Saúde e o Ensino Pediátrico de graduaçäo. Isso se justifica por considerar que a Atençäo Primária corresponde ao conjunto de conhecimentos e aprendizagem da Pediatria básica que todo Médico geral deve trazer em sua formaçäo. Do ponto de vista metodológico, trabalhamos com abordagem qualitativa, em nível exploratório, buscando extrair de fala do aluno as Representaçoes Sociais e as Representaçoes Saúde/Doença a respeito da Criança, da Atençäo Primária de Saúde e das Açoes Básicas de Saúde da Criança. A análise dos dados indica que é necessário buscar a intersecçäo na transmissäo dos conhecimentos e garantir o treinamento em serviço correlato. Foi possível ainda discutir a influência que o Mercado de trabalho exerce no perfil do profissional médico e permitiu-nos considerar que para que a Atençäo Primária a Saúde, seja de fato assimilada pelo aluno, é necessário que a sua própria inserçäo no currículo, seja o elemento reordenador das prioridades do ensino médico.
Resumen en ingles
This study is intended as opinion on medical eduacation as seen through the eyes
of students nearing graduation. Involving the relation between primary health
care and pediatric instruction at the MD level, it is justified by the fact that
primary care is part of the body of basic pediatric knoledge and the learning
processthat should pertainto every phisician's eduacation.
From a methodological standpoint,the appreoach has been aimed at qualitative
analysis, to determine,using the student's own words,social and health/illness
represntations concerning children, as well as primary health practices relative
to children. Analysis of data shows that it is necessary to finda where the
transmission of knowlege intersects while ensuring trainig in correlated
services.
It has also possible to discuss the inluence that job market has on the profile
of medical professional. Therefore one may conclude that in order for primary
health care to bem truly assimilated by the student,it must it must become an
actual part of the curriculum as a means of reorganizing the priorities of
medical education.
