Resumen en portugues
O presente artigo tem o objetivo de expor as contribuições teórico-metodológicas da chamada Antropologia do Desenvolvimento sobre o contexto político e econômico do mundo após a Segunda Guerra Mundial. Nos anos após 1945, os debates sobre as diferentes ideias e definições de “desenvolvimento” ocuparam de forma relevante a agenda acadêmica e política do período. Por meio do estudo das formulações de políticas de desenvolvimento para a região amazônica nos anos 1950, buscamos apresentar um breve exemplo da recepção das ideias sobre planejamento, desenvolvimento e subdesenvolvimento em locais considerados subdesenvolvidos pelos atores políticos daquele período.
