Resumen en portugues
O objetivo deste estudo foi descrever as etapas
de tradução e adaptação do questionário do
Primary Care International Study of Medical
Errors (PCISME). Esse instrumento visa a identificar
incidentes ocorridos com pacientes na
Atenção Primária em Saúde (APS), no contexto
destes serviços, em uma microrregião de saúde,
no Estado do Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Para esse
processo, foi organizado um painel com especialistas,
os quais adaptaram o questionário por
meio do método Delphi modificado. O instrumento
adaptado pode contribuir para produzir
informações específicas na APS, de modo a fortalecer
iniciativas nacionais para a melhoria da
segurança do paciente.
Resumen en ingles
The objective of this study was to describe the
translation and adaptation of the questionnaire
used in the Primary Care International Study of
Medical Errors (PCISME) for application in primary
health care in a local health district in Rio
de Janeiro State, Brazil. The process included organization
of an expert panel that adapted the
questionnaire using a modified Delphi method.
The adapted instrument can help produce specific
information on primary health care and
strengthen initiatives to improve patient safety
in Brazil.

El objetivo del estudio fue describir las etapas de la
traducción y adaptación del cuestionario Estudio Internacional
de Atención Primaria de Errores Médicos
(PCISME), que tiene como objetivo comprender la
ocurrencia de incidentes con pacientes en el cuestionario
de Atención Primaria de Salud, dentro del contexto
de los servicios de Atención Primaria de Salud en
la micro-región sanitaria del estado de Río de Janeiro,
Brasil. Para este proceso se organizó un panel con expertos,
que adaptaron el cuestionario, utilizando el
método Delphi modificado. Este instrumento puede
ser útil si se adapta para producir información específica
sobre la Atención Primaria de Salud, con el fin
de fortalecer las iniciativas nacionales para mejorar la
seguridad del paciente.
