Resumen en portugues
Um fator importante que contribui para a gravidade da doença de Chagas é
a possibilidade de reinfecções, que poderiam também, influenciar na reagudização da
doença de Chagas em pacientes aidéticos e/ou transplantados e imunossuprimidos, pela
reativação de cepas virulentas, nos indivíduos com multiplas infecções. É de interesse
investigar a resposta imunológica em animais com múltiplas infecções e o uso de
imunossupressores
