Nesta edição da revista Radis, o foco está nas histórias daqueles que enfrentam problemas de saúde, particularmente relacionados ao amianto. O texto destaca as doenças como asbestose, placas pleurais, câncer de pulmão e mesotelioma, resultantes do trabalho na produção e uso dessa substância, com ênfase nas experiências de trabalhadores da mina de Bom Jesus da Serra, na Bahia. A matéria apresenta as lutas e exemplos de Alcides Silva, Juvenal Batista, Esmeraldo Teixeira e mais de 80 trabalhadores afetados, levantando a discussão sobre o banimento do amianto, tema de projetos de lei em tramitação.
