A filmografia do cineasta brasileiro Humberto Mauro é extensa. Ela inclui treze filmes de ficção, sendo doze longas-metragens e um curta, além de 357 documentários dirigidos por ele no Instituto Nacional de Cinema Educativo (INCE), sobre geografia, física, literatura, artes, datas cívicas, ciências e folclore, entre outros assuntos. A maior parte dos filmes por ele dirigidos no INCE (97) teve como tema a saúde. Deles só restam 35, que serão comentados aqui. Os filmes existentes, mesmo tratando de assuntos áridos, apresentaram a qualidade cinematográfica de Humberto Mauro. Tanto estes quanto os que não foram encontrados, ou que não existem mais, foram divididos em categorias para efeito de pesquisa , a partir da visualização e de informações das fichas técnicas existentes e conforme os momentos históricos em que eles foram rodados. Ao final deste texto, estão listados os filmes existentes, divididos em quatro categorias (filmes institucionais, difusão científica, educação rural e ensino& pesquisa).
Abstract
The filmography of Brazilian film maker Humberto Mauro is extensive. It includes thirteen fiction movies, one short movie and twelve feature films, besides 357 documentaries directed by him at the National Institute of Educational Movies (INCE), about geography, physics, literature, arts, civic dates, sciences, folklore, among other subjects. Most of the films directed by him at INCE (97) had health as theme, and there are only 35 left, which will be commented in here. By the end of this text, the existent films will be listed, divided into four categories (institutional films, scientific diffusion, rural education and teaching and research).
