REGULAMENTAÇÃO E HIV/AIDS: ALCANCES E CONSEQUÊNCIAS NA RELAÇÃO SOCIAL IMAGINÁRIA

O artigo indaga e analisa a construção imaginária da infecção de HIV. Os ideais sociais, a condição de possibilidade e representatividade de nossa ordem social (Castoriadis, 1975) operam com consequências históricas e sociais. Neste sentido, é feita uma reflexão não só sobre os processos de regulamentação que configuram a relação imaginária da enfermidade, como também sobre alguns alcances e consequências a partir de três mecanismos fundamentais: o domínio da sexualidade e o lugar de destaque que ocupa a ‘família’; a distribuição e a organização espacial dos consultórios ou áreas de Doenças de Transmissão Sexual e AIDS em hospitais públicos; o discurso biomédico da prevenção. Esses componentes permitem considerar o diagnóstico de HIV como o caso mais completo do projeto normativo, com consequências materiais para quem vive com a infecção. A estigmatização como descrédito social (GOFFMAN, 1963) e a discriminação constituíram-se em formas privilegiadas de viabilizar esses casos e processos. Para a pesquisa, foram realizadas entrevistas com jovens entre 18 e 35 anos (a quem são geralmente destinadas as campanhas de prevenção) e representantes do discurso biomédico de hospitais públicos e das cidades de Santa Fé e Paraná (Argentina), como atores fundamentados da relação comunidade/saúde.
