Resumen en portugues
Observou-se aparasitemia horária do Trypanosoma cruzi através de hemoscopias e
de xenodiagnósticos horários, em camundongos na fa se aguda da infecção e em cobaias e
camundongos na fa s e crônica. O número de T. cruzi no sangue e o número de triatomíneos
positivos p o r xenodiagnósticos fo i freqüente e variável mas não fo i cíclico durante as 24
horas do dia. A qualquer hora, tanto na fa se aguda como na crônica, o T. cruzi pôde ser
detectado através hemoscopias e xenos. Não fo i constatado um ritmo circadiano para o
T. cruzi.
