Foi realizada revisão bibliográfica de literatura especializada
sobre as principais causas ocupacionais de infertilidades masculinas,
apresentadas sob a forma de artigo.
Fez-se descrição sucinta das principais causas gerais da
infertilidade masculina, separadas em causas internas ou orgânicas e
causas externas, estas subdivididas em causas externas de origem não
laboral e origem laboral.
Incluem-se no trabalho explanações sobre o aparelho reprodutor
masculino e sobre interferentes endócrinos.
No artigo são destacados os principais efeitos da exposição
ocupacional aos interferentes endócrinos sobre a fertilidade masculina. A
exposição ocupacional de trabalhadores a substâncias interferentes do
sistema endócrino como os agrotóxicos, metais pesados e resíduos de
processos industriais podem causar danos no sistema endócrino e estes
podem levar à infertilidade masculina.
Um significativo aumento na incidência de infertilidade masculina
tem sido descrito na literatura, tornando necessário à realização de mais
estudos que possam elucidar e determinar as causas desta questão. Desta
forma será possível projetar medidas de proteção dos trabalhadores
potencialmente expostos.
Abstract
This paper develops provides an overview of male infertility.
There is a brief description of the main causes of male infertility,
divided by in internal or organic and external causes (labor and nonlabor origins).
In the present paper, explanations about the male reproductive
organ and endocrines disruptors are included.
The literature review emphasizes the main effects of exposition to
endocrines deregulators exposition over male fertility. The occupational
exposition of workers to deregulating substances, such as pesticides,
heavy metals and residues of industrial processes can cause damages to
the endocrine system leading to male infertility.
A significant increase in male infertility incidence having been
described in the literature, making necessary problem of further studies
to clarify and determine the causes of this fact. Thus, it will be possible
to establish methods of protection actions for the potentially exposed
workers.
