Abstract
Among the traditional knowledge, indigenous knowledge is widely used in Brazil as agroforestry systems (SAF's) models. The agroforestry has as its cradle indigenous knowledge about forests, imitating its way of growth and stability, guaranteed agricultural production and biodiversity of fauna and flora, in ecosystems. This project seeks the interaction of traditional knowledge with a scientific focus on the knowledge of indigenous culture, and the production of knowledge to aggregate to agroecological knowledge, highlighting environmental education, which integrates the ancestral knowledge of native peoples with contemporary technologies. The project began to be developed in stages, in the municipality of Ilhéus-BA, in the Tupinambá Community of Tucum village on 12/27/2017. The first stage was started with agroecological approaches and experiences. On 12/16/2018, the second phase was applied, using the tools of Participatory Diagnosis Fortaleza, Opportunity, Weakness and Threat (FOFA) and the Natural Resources and Land Use Map (NRLUM). The indigenous knowledge work presents itself in a social, economic, cultural and environmental context, involving agroecology as the new science under construction. However, it is evidenced the existence of a harmonic relation, being able to be exerted by anthropic actions, proven by the traditional knowledge.
